Leigh Wick, a Sunset View parent volunteer, has developed a program to teach kids to give back. The mission is to "actively engage and empower students at Sunset View to become involved in their community." Each month students will have three volunteer opportunities, with at least one activity that benefits the Sunset View community. The program will focus on six core service areas: Senior Citizens, Food and Shelter, Health and Disabilities, Environment, Animals and Leadership and Education. Thank you Leigh for helping our students to learn the importance of service to the world and that we can really make a differnce in the lives of others!
