Summer Reading Celebration
Sunset View students were challenged to keep track of their reading over the summer. They wrote the titles down of the books they read and returned the form to the library during the first few weeks of school. In exchange for the form, students received a book of their choice. All students that returned a form were invited to an
evening of fun to celebrate their summer reading.
During the summer celebration each child had fun fooling the paparazzi with sunglasses, won two books on a book walk, listened to Mrs. O'Brien read a story, and learned to caricature with Mr. Flynn. For the big finale, students went to the gym and listened to Christopher Leebrick share a couple stories. Fun was had by all! Thanks goes out to all those people that volunteered to help!
