Guy Brooke, a writer and musical/theater artist, presented his first children's book, Pepper the Preschool Puppy, to Sunset View Kindergarten - 3rd grade students on April 24. His unique story-telling assembly included story songs with his guitar, pantomime, action stories (Going on a Squeegee Hunt), and reading his book to the students. He stressed using imagination and make-believe fun during his presentation. This Naches, Washington author is a delight and the students absolutely were entertained and inspired to read and write more often. Thank you to Guy and our PTO for a chance to learn and have fun with an author.
